The first 1/8 scale competition ESC which can work the full-censored mode at all times (when pairing it with a Hobby Wing matching motor). turbo timing technology is implemented by the XR8 SCT to unleash the maximum power of a Hobby Wing matching motor. Small (30.1% smaller than XR8 plus in size) and light (36.5G lighter than XR8 plus in weight) structure design greatly simplifies the installation of the power system (ESP. For vehicles like Buggy and touring car with compact chassis). with hobbywing's "Wi-Fi express" module and iPhone or an Android phone (with the Hobby Wing Wi-Fi link software installed), the user can remotely program parameters, upgrade firmware and check relevant data of the ESC without leaving the control stand. Hobbywing's patented cooling technology utilizes proprietary heat-conductive copper bars to rapidly and effectively transfer all internal heat from the misfit board to the integrated CNC machined Billet aluminum heatsink housing. The cooling an adopts a shockproof mounting which effectively reduces the possibility of fan damage due to vehicle’s frequent jumps. The first 4-pole motor with a built-in chip which helps ESC identify it's a Hobby Wing motor (only when pairing it with the XERUN XR8 series of ESCs) and the XR8 ESC create a power system which is able to work in the "censored" mode (at all times) and provide users with the better performance and smoother control. The hobbywing-patented "error-free" Hall sensing system adopted by the motor guarantees users the steady operation in the “censored” mode. A separate high-speed high precision encoder always outputs the clean signals (indicate the position of the rotor) and protects the Hall sensing system from other signal interference.
